Thing 4 - Write a paragraph explaining the background of this game and a basic walk through of the game (include the 5 Elements!) that in some way includes dinosaurs.
Fun factor – what makes it fun?
Control and gameplay - The best games are those that allow the player to seamlessly control the events on screen. The ultimate control is one that is so responsive the player doesn't even notice the clunky interface they're using.
- The more games become like big Hollywood movies (some games have budgets upwards of $30 million), they suffer from the same inherent problems as the silver screen - you only want to see them once. A few, rare games a year defeat this by offering a massive amount of sheer content - sometimes just completing a game can take as long as 150 hours.
How does the game start?
Who are the protagonists (heroes) and antagonists (bad guys)?
Is the plot linear or branching (In some games you often can make choices at what we call plot decision points, and if you make the correct choice the plot will go in one direction or another. In a linear game, if you make the wrong choices the game will be over, in a branching plot you will be allowed to make choices that will lead the game in a different direction with different resultsYou can see that a branching plot line can have many interesting choices.
